We are often haunted by things we did in the past, the ghosts of choices we made.
You cannot go back and change things, you can only look forward and work with what you have got.
Take a deep breath in, and face the barriers you have imposed upon yourself.
Indecision
There are days when indecision sets in.
What should you do? When should you go?
Indecision can lead to apathy, which can lower the mood and expectations of yourself.
Stand up, take a step.
It doesn’t matter where or how, just begin the journey!
Repurpose
People talk about getting back to normal, when they should be looking at adapting to the new.
Sometimes things will never be the same as they were.
Learn to adapt; new may be good.
Daphne
There is a delicacy in Mother Nature, but she is stronger than all of us.
Just because you feel fragile, you have strength in you.
Believe in who you are and what you can be.
All things shall pass
Nothing lasts forever, take comfort in that.
However low you are feeling, things will get better.
Remember the frost and penetrating cold of the winter?
That passed, and so will this.
Honesty
There’s a part of me that wonders whether the world would be a better place is everybody was just honest. Honest with themselves, honest with each other, just honest.
Trying to spare someone’s feelings can quickly spiral into a web of lies and deceit. You start digging a hole, then find yourself twenty feet deep with little more than a trowel.
So, why do it? Why are we so desperate to please other people? What is it about human nature that drives us to avoid honesty at all costs?
Stop and think about it. What harm would telling the truth actually do? Will lying to them do more harm?
Honesty is the best policy, but we’re often too blind to see it.
